Figure-mask used in the performance of Menander’s comedy Dyskolos (The Grouch), directed by Evis Gabrielides for the Cyprus Theatre Organisation. The set designer was Nikos Kouroussis. The figures, which were made by Maria Loizidou, were used as caricature masks for the heroes of the play. (Cyprus Theatre Organisation 1985).
